Instagram and Twitter, a delicious combination when it comes to the world of food. But before we go into that, let me give you a little run down of the two social networking sites Twitter, and Instagram. With Twitter, you “Tweet,” which is the equivalent of a “post” in the facebook world. But with a tweet, you are allowed 140 characters to get your word out to the world. Many will suggest that you buy 1,000 Twitter followers to get the most enjoyment. With Instagram, it allows you to post your photos, and short videos of whatever suits you. As with Twitter, the best way to get the most out of instagram is to instagram automatic likes. Doing so will improve the odds of having a successful social networking experience. Now with that being said, let’s get to the good stuff… food.
Does Instagram have an effect on the food industry?
That is a great question, and the answer is, yes. Of course it does. Everyone that has a instagram and twitter account are posting pics of their daily meals to friends and family. From small home cooks, to the beginners, to the advanced cooks and chef’s. These people are making it happen with instagram, snapping photos along with recipes of their newest creation, or a rendition of an old time favorite.
Instagram, and Foursquare apps
I would like to point out one fun and handy app that works with instagram and it’s called Foursquare, this app lets the user share locations, photos, food items and buildings and locations to let their followers know just exactly where they are, and what they are up to. As with this app, Instagram is a terrrific way to share and promote your product, or creation if you area budding chef, or a professional.
So back to the question at hand, of the effectiveness of instagram on the food industry. Although instagram may not be as massive as it’s counterparts Facebook and Twitter, it is getting there. And it is throwing a punch in the virutal world, with quite of few users of this app. Instagram makes it easy to connect people with what they love, and what people love is food. And if you are like me, you probably are making a mad dash to the grocery store to whip up some of these fantastic recipes. That is what I call a definite impact on the food industry. You prepare a culinary masterpiece, snap a photo and use instagram to connect it to the world, and voila! You have someone who is gonna try and recreate that exact same meal. Yes, Instagram is definitely making a dent on the food industry.
